LB Photos Policy Overview and Contract

Please read, review, and sign below, LB Photos’ policies. This contract confirms our agreement; I shall provide my services to photograph your session to the best of my ability, and shall provide products and services indicated in the following sections of this agreement.

This session fee agreed upon between client and photographer includes a 60 minute lifestyle photography session, all workable edited high-resolution edited images (between 15-30 images) with shared printing rights. Prints, canvases, albums and further detail edits ordered through me are additional. The session will take place at 1 location, time and weather permitting, predetermined by the photographer and client.

Image Release I hereby give Leigh Bishop, of LB Photos permission to use images from this portrait session for professional purposes such as online portfolios, websites, displays, contests, and advertising, to promote the photographer’s name or business. I have the legal authority to grant these permissions and I accept all responsibility for such. I have read the policies and agree to abide by all policies.

Copyright All images are copyright LB Photos. It is illegal and unlawful to scan, copy, reproduce, duplicate, or alter (digitally or otherwise) our work in any manner under Federal Copyright Laws beyond what is stated in the contract. LB Photos reserves the right to use any images for professional purposes. The client may reproduce images for personal use ONLY.

Session Fee Details and Cancellation Policies LB Photos requires full payment of the session fee on the day of the session and before receiving the photos from your session. Please provide at least a 24 hour notice for cancellations. Please be aware that outdoor sessions may need to be rescheduled due to inclement weather. If you are having a family portrait session, and a child is sick, please call to reschedule with no penalties. A happy, healthy child will bring out the best in your portraits! If the client is late to the session, they will forfeit that amount of time from the session, and the total amount of edited images is subject to change due to light and available shooting time.

Payment for Prints and Albums LB Photos accepts cash, checks, PayPal and Venmo. Clients are also responsible for any and all location fees and permits.

Image Retouching Basic retouching is included (exposure correction, color, contrast, cropping, etc.) with the photos posted into the online gallery. After clients have viewed these photos online, please contact LB Photos for any additional optional extensive retouching (facial scars, blemishes/skin smoothing, bruises, stray hairs, teeth whitening, body slimming, etc.). Any extensive retouching services will be charged separately at $50 per image. Detail editing requests must be done within 2 weeks of delivery of gallery. These extensive retouched images will also be included in the client's online gallery. The depth for extensive editing is the same as those found in the LB Photos portfolio. LB Photos will not provide alterations that are outside of the original artistic vision. Your images will have variety, including but not limited to serious expressions, looking away from the camera, or an artistic crop off of the top of the head that will add to the emotion of your portrait. Please familiarize yourself and be comfortable with the LB Photos’ style, as the measure of the quality of work is not based on an objective standard.

Limit Of Liability LB Photos warrants and declares that every effort will be made to provide high-quality photographic service. In the unlikely event of severe medical, natural, or other emergencies, LB Photos will make every effort to reschedule the session at the earliest convenience of the client and photographer. LB Photos takes the utmost care with respect to exposure, transportation, and processing of photographs; including using professional-grade equipment and professional-grade backup equipment. However, in the unlikely event of the client’s photographs being lost, stolen, or destroyed for reasons beyond LB Photos control, the latter’s liability is limited to the return of all payments received for the package. The limit of liability shall not exceed the contract price stated herein.

Amendments This contract has been freely negotiated and shall be recognized as the entirety of the agreement. Only those changes or modifications specifically placed in writing, attached, dated, and signed by both the client and photographer shall be recognized as amendments to this contract.
